Just talked to my sister. My nephew, oldest brother's son (L), is in critical condition in the hospital.

He and my oldest nephew (T) were out playing on jet skis. L, T and some other kid were messing around, playing in each other's wakes, splashing each other. L splashed the 3rd kid and the kid lost control of his jet ski. Kid got thrown off and the jet ski hit L.

A boat that saw it happen stopped and pulled L out of the water on to their boat. He was unconscious/not breathing so they did CPR til they got back to the shore where an ambulance was just arriving.

I swear some men don't think before they act, are they really as clueless as they come off?

I had a very close friend pass away a week ago and I have been pretty much an emotional wreck ever since. I've known this guy since 2002 when I was pregnant with my daughter. I feel like I'm slowly going crazy- cry at the drop of a hat, still beating myself up over it a little (the what ifs/coulda/shoulda's going through my head), and haven't slept very well at all.

Ugh, I hate that this even bothers me but damnit, he's mine and these women need to find their own man instead of relying on mine so much!

Well, the peace was fun while it lasted. DH and I were finally doing great, not fighting due to dumbass SS, and now the stupid fuck is back in jail.

SS20 lived in a hotel for the first 4 days he was out last time, then lived with his sister for a couple weeks. SD22's BF told DH that SS had been living with friends here and there since he left SD's apartment. Apparently SD hadn't heard from SS for a couple days so she checked the County Jail website this afternoon, and there he was again.
