OMG!!!!! BM and her whole damn family sucks

just_tired's picture

DH texted ExMIL about her supervising BM with skids next weekend (1st visit in 2 months) because BM asked for 2 overnights last night instead of just the one. DH wanted to make sure ExMIL was on board for the 2 nights and not just BM making shit up.

DH - Are you okay/wanting the skids for 2 nights next weekend like BM said

ExMIL - Yes I did say that but for right now we will just play it by ear

WTF!?!?!?! My reaction to DH...hell no we will not be playing this by ear, they either want them for 1 night, 2 nights or none at all. DH has to work night shift next weekend, so I am the one that will be home to take care of skids and I don't play the we will just see game. I want a plan and a schedule so that I can plan and schedule things for myself and my DS.

That whole family is completely BAT SHIT STUPID CRAZY....I don't live my life around yours and could careless fucking less what y'all want. }:) :jawdrop: Blum 3

Omg this reminds me of my Dh's family. They are SO difficult. If you try to make plans, it's always "...oh maybe" and they won't even confirm they are participating until like an hour before the event happens. it's so frustrating so I feel you. Your Dh need to say, it's either yes or no otherwise you'll assume they are not taking the kids. Good Grief!

Same here! My DH and I call this the "11th Hour BM BS"!!! I cancelled plans with friends tonight to pick up the SS's since my DH just had surgery and cannot drive. Just found out as Im walking out the door to get them that she decided that she wants to have a family dinner at the MIL. :O

Basically told them he doesn't mind if the stay 2 nights in a row but we would like to have a plan in place since he has work and make sure everything works for everyone before hand

Oh Jeez. sorry. I gave up on trusting word of visit confirmation long ago. BM would say she was 5 minutes away and we wouldn't hear from her for a week.
