Money Issue/Question
Ok BM was married after she and my husband broke up (they never married..thank god). Her ex-husband was and is in the military and she receives alimony or as she said military alootment (that's what she said). While I understand her ex has to pay this to her...this is where my question gets sticky. Since she owes my husband about 11 grand in back child support...shouldn't some of what she receives from alimony go towards the child support? Another question I have is I have the proof (a screenshot) where she said that she isn't supposed to receive it anymore for whatever reason but still does. Several months ago I witnessed her telling people this same info but wasn't able to take a screen shot (kids were nearby and I was on my laptop, had no access to a camera at that moment) I brought this to my husbands attention and when he asked her about it she denied it.
Is there anything we can do about it? I hate that she plays the system and gets away with so much. I know this sounds bad but she needs to get her ass handed to her on a silver platter!
alimony
Alimony is income and taxable. Yes, she should be paying CS out of her income.
Does she have kids with her
Does she have kids with her ex? How long were they married?

No she doesn't have kids
No she doesn't have kids with her ex and i think they were married for a year or so at least! But I am not totally sure on that.
wouldn't
it be GREAT if you could contact her EH that is paying alimony (and I'm sure not happy about it) and have him pay you the $$ directly to pay off her child support debt...aggghh..if only..
