I bought the paternity test this morning. It's staring at me.

I had a crazy dream last night that we were in the local mall with BM and GBM. I walked away to talk to GBM. DH was talking to BM when she tackled him and started punching him screaming about how dare he say SD isn't his daughter. I ran over and pulled her off and GBM tackled me and started trying to rip my hair out. DH called security and the police arrested BM and GBM for assault and let me go because they knew me (?) and knew I wouldn't hurt a fly. We then got custody of SD because DH was her legal father and were stuck raising her.

I woke up in a cold sweat and couldn't get back to sleep. My hair was wrapped around DH's arm, so at least I know why I thought GBM was ripping my hair out.

There are lot of crazy BM nightmares floating around this place lately.... hope I'm not the next victim.

What's your plan with the test?

Yeah, weird. I got hit with BM nightmares the last week too. Maybe the changing of the seasons is causing our deepest frustrations to surface in the dream world?

We're concerned about SD's paternity. She doesn't look or act like DH. We've put it off as long as we can. We're doing the test and sending it in tomorrow.

Gosh with all these crazy dreams flying around, I am ok with my BFF's dream that I was pregnant. I'd rather that then some of this crazy stuff that happens in your subconscious.

3-5 business days from the time they recieve it. We should know by next Friday

The other "man" sounds like a pos. Were authorities ever notified?

Yep. They let him off because they couldn't decide if it was him or if it was from when her mother dropped her.

She was only 22 months old. Sad My friend and I had been friends in HS and when she got pregnant I went out of my way to help her. I worked as a secretary and spent most of my paycheck buying her gas, food, and clothes for her daughter. When DH and I started dating, she told me she was jealous I'd met such a nice guy and wished she had gotten to him first (I thought as a joke). She then tried to sleep with my DH (then fiance) while I was pregnant, which I didn't find out about until later. When she started dating POS, I told her it was a VERY bad idea. He had left BM about 6 months earlier but they were still "BFF"s. I told her I couldn't be friends with her anymore if she dated him. She chose him.
A month later I got a call from her brother telling me to get to the local children's hospital. She'd been airlifted when my friend came home from getting groceries and found her unresponsive with her eyes rolled back in her head.
CPS charged my friend with failure to protect and put my goddaughter in foster care. She didn't do her program to get my goddaughter back. My goddaughter was adopted by her foster parents and my friend isn't allowed to have any contact with her or know her name. My friend now has another child and is married. We haven't spoken since that day at the hospital when I told her she was a worthless excuse for a mother and just like her biological mother.

We're not sure yet. The other possible father we is a child abuser who got off scott free (He beat the crap out of my goddaughter and put her in the hospital with bleeding on her brain. SD looks just like him. His ex-girlfriend left him because she is positive he is SD's father. BM's friends have come to us and told us that DH isn't SD's father.

Our current thought is to confront BM and GBM with the paternity test results if they exclude DH as SD's father. My biggest fear is that the test comes back inconclusive.
