O/T slightly...anyone else catch dr Phil today?

This woman has a child that has almost killed his you get brother three times in the past month!! He held an iron on his chest and the pictures we brutal. My first thought was, where I. The HELL was this poor stressed mother while there was a clearly hot and ready iron just waiting to be used by the other child?! I mean...especially if you know this child is extremely dangerous to your other child, why would you not keep the "victim" (for lack of a better word) child by your or within eye sight at all times?! I know I'm not perfect, and hell I don't have my own children, but to me that just seems like common parenting sense.

Kids do NOT become abusive and violent unless there is something that they have experienced, etc..simple.

Oh absolutely. All I was saying was that if you KNOW your child has become that was, and in fact makes a habit of it, would it not be your priority to keep your younger defenseless children safe by not leaving them alone with the abusive child?! This woman admitted to having left her 7 month old alone with the child bc he "hadn't shown any signs of abuse for a while"...I wanted to smack her!!

Yes, I do agree with your first post Wink , just saying that kids don't become crazy all on their own...guess what? The kid is crazy in this case, cause MOM is crazy...
