SO & I took the Skids, by train, to Chicago. SO’s extended family are there & he hadn’t been back to visit in 12 years. None of SO’s X’s have met his family…BM Redneck thought it was “too far north” & Nasty thought her family was FAR more important than SO’s. They all seemed to like me just fine & had opinions of the BM’s which I found HYSTERICAL, so that part of it was excellent.

Nasty (who hadn’t called the Skids since early February) decided that during our vacation was the PERFECT time to harass SO about taxes that SHE owes while crying about how “screwed” she was being. She claimed that she didn’t know that they were divorced either (HUH???). He handled the situation well until she pulled her same ol crap of “Well fine, I want my babies back now! It’s MY TURN!”. He pulled on information from the past conversations that he & I have had about this same threat…since she tries it EVERY time she doesn’t get her way. In the past however, SO caved & did whatever it was that she wanted…this time was different

SO told her that she put IN WRITING that she doesn’t want them, she put IN WRITING that she NEVER wanted them & she put IN WRITING that she could go for eternity without ever seeing them again & it would be a day too soon. After having reminded her of her colossal stupidity, he then told her that she was MORE than welcome to do the following steps-

1. Move to Texas (within 100 miles of our location – started talking about Conroe & how much she’d love it – sarcasm abounded)
2. Get a THREE bedroom apartment (since she has a boy AND a girl, they cannot be in the same bedroom at their ages)
3. Furnish the apartment (the Skids would NOT be sleeping on the floor)
4. Purchase wardrobes for both Skids (since she would NOT be taking clothes from OUR home)
5. Start having her CO’d visitation EOWE ensuring that she is showing the courts that she actually cares about her children.
6. Hire & pay for a lawyer, then pay for the court fees.
7. Finally, have fun proving that he’s an unfit parent because THAT’s the only way the courts will do JACK.

Of course, she said she LOVES her babies, could NEVER move to Texas & that he shouldn't be so mean to her...you know, since she's the mother of his children & all :sick: SO ended the conversation with "Don't EVER threaten me again unless you're willing to back it up with actual action, you bitch! Our children are NOT pawns & they will not be treated as such!"

After the MANY MANY MANY fights that SO & I have had about his lack of backbone towards this particular BM, I was SO proud of him!

*Side note*
I know that she may not have to move to Texas to make an attempt for custody but SHE doesn't know that & honestly, neither does he...both seem inept at using any of the many search engines available online & neither have bothered to even look at the TXCSA website...ever. Yes folks, she's THAT stupid...she doesn't bother to look ANYTHING up. But this is the same woman who went to a lawyer & asked them "How do I get out of CS? I don't think I should have to pay it...I'm the mom!" Hmmmm...
