What would the world be like if everyone took next to no interest in their children?

SO: Same one as last year, S.H.E.
BM Nasty: What’s the website?
SO: Same as last year www.dumbass.org (giving the actual website of course)
BM Nasty: When do they have a long weekend?
SO: Check on the calendar on the website
BM Nasty: Can’t find it…let me know because I want to fly out to see them when they have a few days off of school before Christmas since you won’t give them to me...
SO: Ok

I dig up the info, send it to SO to forward on to BM Nasty…we also threw in their Thanksgiving holiday time as this year is hers per the CO.

Her response to the email.
“Thanks, I wouldn’t want to take them for Thanksgiving…that wouldn’t be fair to them or to you & Anywho. I want to fly in on a Fri & fly out on Sun…I don’t want to waste money for just a day or two. I’ll let you know if I can work it out.”

Okay…firstly dumbass, for someone who “misses their babies oh so very much” (according to her FB status) & who calls her children for a total of 20 minutes combined in a month (broken up into 2 conversations) if they’re lucky, you COULD swing Thur evening through Sun evening IF you wanted to spend more than a couple days with them. In addition, if you’re going to “waste money” on flights, why not make it worth your while & see your children for longer if possible (6 days around Thanksgiving)? Why have kids if you don’t want to spend any holidays with them???

The Skids would be over the moon if they got to see their BM for more than 4.5 days per year! I’d be over the moon simply to have a break (knowing they’d come back as ungrateful heathens isn’t really a downside when alone time is on the line).

BM Nasty would have taken them this Christmas if SO had let her…which he isn’t because per the CO, it’s his year & he wants to go to Chicago to see his maternal relatives (who have never met the Skids)…but Thanksgiving wouldn’t be fair? What??

I don’t understand her complete lack of interest in the people that SHE spawned! It’s not natural!
