Ladies I need Creative Ideas!
What to say when GG starts ooing and ahing over his homely children. The Behemoth sent a set of photos that she had done for Christmas. The only one that looks nice and natural is the oldest, Brainiac SS15. Of course Brainiac is GG's least fav of all three. He holds a special place in his heart for the younger two demon spawn, VD (SD13) and Prince Hygiene (SS to be 9 in less than a week)
The youngest two are quite literally SMIRKING and look like they are about to do the devil's deeds. They aren't the most attractive children either so that makes it worse.
Any ideas?
I was thinking: That's a nice background that the Behemoth chose for them.

He's not too observant (unless he wants to play prosecuting attorney, then he's ruthless), so I might be able to hold off giving him the "beg for Xmas prezzies/photo opp" until after 1/2/12. . .

I will definitely compliment Brainiac. He is smiling naturally in the photo. The younger two are smirking to wild abandon as though they've just stuck a hot poker up my hind quarters.

I will never understand this. DH wanted to put pictures up of SS in our bedroom. UUUMMMM NO. I am a firm believer that no other pictured of other people in the bedroom. Not even my kids. I would not be able to stomach a shrine. ewww.

DH saw his grandsons Monday
DH saw his grandsons Monday for the first time in almost a year. I know it's not their fault that SD is such a raging bitch but I have disengaged. He came back with "OUR" Christmas gift, a franed 5x7 of the boys. He says, "See the boys" and I answer, "yup" and walked away. He starts to move some things aroung in the living room to put the pic out and I told him "Oh hell no, not here" Not sure where it is but at least I can't see it. I know it's not them but when I see them, all I see is her so the answer is always NO.

Accentuate the positive (older son looks nice) and don't comment on the negative. Just say "Oh look you got pictures. Brainiac looks very nice!" That covers it and your not having to be a fakeass

I have to laugh on that one. She has blonde curly hair and ever since I've known her she and the Behemoth have done NOTHING with it accept pull it back in a crude ponytail. That way you don't have to wash, comb, cut or style it!!! Her latest picture is the very same. Hair pulled back in a crude, greasy ponytail!!
