Yes, my DSO annoys the crap out of me with SD.

He got OSS the car today. 4 payments on the insurance and OSS can be a big boy.

SD....Oh SD.

Last Saturday, SD has the middle school formal. DSO and I pick her up at the Twins house and take her home to get stuff and then to go BMs to get ready.
DSO tells SD that from now one, you need to vacuum your room twice a week, put your dirty clothes in the hamper and in the laundry room, put the clean clothes away, and take dirty dishes and garbage to the kitchen every day and she gets 10 bucks a week.

Sunday - comes home from BMs at 9pm. Puts her laundry in the hallway and not the laundry area. Sorry little girl, I can't get to it til Thursday.
Monday - Goes to Twins house and stay all nite.
Tues - DSO has to go do stuff for OSS car and she goes with him. Hasn't touched her bedroom yet.
Wed - I know this is today but she has practice for 2.5 hours so nothing will get done today.

After I get home Tues and she comes out to feed, I talk about the softball issue. There have been 7 practices and she has went to 4 of them. But whines she needs sliding shorts etc. I refuse to go shopping when she blows off half the practices.
I say 'now you have practice on Friday nite, Saturday late afternoon, and Sunday during the day. You will have to stay here bc we can't keep running all over bc our cars are older and starting to have problems and the gas money, this is how it will be most of the summer too.
She just shakes her head OK. I know she is just agreeing and there is no way in hell she is going to spend the holiday weekend and most of the summer stuck at our house. She will go to practice tonite and come Friday there will be some bullshit excuse that she had to go to twins house and blah blah blah.

About an hour later DSO gets a txt form one of the twins. Can SD go to the festival Thurs nite with us and she needs money. FACEPALM. She has twin txt bc she had the allowance speech and wants to go to festival so having the twin ask is her way to get money to go. She was given $55 last week to go with the twins to a festival in another county and blew off 2 practices...and then went to her formal (shockingly BM paid for half the dress), so she does get things.

This is why I disengaged. This is the same shit she pulled with me. I would lay out some type of structure, she would agree with me to shut me up and then just do whatever the hell she wanted to anyway.

Oh, and SD also txts DSO (in the same fucking house) that she needs 2 stuffed animals for a science project and we have to buy specific Disney stuffed animals, 1 of them would be a big $ item at a Disney store. Of course DSO is an idiot so I go to talk TO her. No fucking way a teacher expects parents to spend big $$ in the last 2 weeks of school.
Does it have to be those 2? No, that is just what I want. They have 1 of them at the $$ store for 5 bucks. Well SD, it isn't $5 that is a problem, it is the fact you expect us to just run and spend money when my MOm and I have garbage bags full of stuffed animals.
