Our BM, like many of yours, likes to text DSO interesting little facts that aren't relevant to skids. DSO is very good about ignoring and not engaging her unless its about the skids.

A few weeks ago, DSO was texting with BM about YSS and visiting in the group home. He commented it was 350 mile round trip. BM had to return YSS yesterday and here is what she texted DSO. BM either doesn't use periods or she puts a period after every work bc she cant work texting.

BM: its. only. 3oo. miles. what. way. u. go. that. takes. 350.
DSO: I live further than u. whats ur point.
BM: I. was. wrong. its. 356. miles. I. go. this. way.(directions) I. just. wandered. what. way. u. went. and. maybe. its. shorter.
DSO: no reply needed.

What BM didn't say was.....the point is, I'm trying to engage you in a stupid conversation bc I totally contradicted myself in 2 texts.

And yes, she is ignored, she has been told to stop, she refuses to stop even when he has been nasty to her or told her off. 2.5 more years and he can officially put her number in the blocked box.

How old is the skid? My SO blocked the ho bitch a year ago... life goes on - there are other ways for her to get in touch in the case of an emergency. And to be clear, an emergency is a death, acute sickness, someone's in jail... that's about the extent of a valid emergency. And - No Texts.

No, there are no other ways to contact at this point. Texting works bc he can ignore the stupid stuff. She can't afford internet for email. She is the type that when she calls, if he lets it go to VM, she just calls back over and over until he answers.

Well, I was around when DSO got 100% legal and physical custody. Texting is what he wants bc she is so fucking annoying for this type of stupid shit.

He has to have 1 line of communication open, texting is the least intrusive and then I get to read her stupidity.

Ours only ever contacts to hurl abuse in a non sensical sense, be insulting when sober or tell SO to go to hell. There are no sms', emails or calls. Calls are just not done. She does one hand over a year. Where she never says a word. But let maintenance not be paid on the 25th of a month - despite the court order saying it can be paid as late as the 7th of the new month and wow does she remember how her phone works. I might like to add it's been paid on the 26th twice in 3 years ...

Its funny that BM never ever cusses or gets shitty with DSO, me yes, but not him.
