I didn't update sooner as I was going thru some stuff with my 83yo Mother and I was waiting to see what happened.

SO called the social worker and asked her if he quit his job, what services would they give him. She said she would call back and never has.

We went thru this 5 years ago, when the skids were taken from BM. Social worker said they would transfer all of BMs free stuff to DSO. The day of court, he asked her when they would transfer services, she replied he had to sign up for them.

DSO would never get anything....food stamps, free housing because of his standing right now, at this point in time.

1. He lives with me, I work for the state. Anyone employed by the state can't have anyone in their household get welfare.
2. You can't own multiple vehicles. Some stuff is in both names or my name or just his. We have his car, my car, a beat up truck to haul stuff, he has an old Trans Am that he wants to restore, a Harley, a 4 wheeler and a pop up camper (all of this stuff is older but my car and not worth a lot of money). Even if he could sell everything but his car or even put it all in my name, they search DMV records and you have to wait 6 months after selling or transferring titles.

So, for now, he has stopped thinking he can just bring SS home. He will be at the group home for 9 months to a year based on behavior. After 6 weeks, I say he will be in there for 2.5 years or until he is 18.

For awhile I though Karma caught me bc I don't just love his little precious snowflake. But I think its just DSO and BMs Karma and I'm getting the good shit :).
