All 3 of my babies are in High School now... and SS's bday was a success

I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I dropped all 3 kids off at the high school this morning. And then... I cried. They are growing up way too fast!

SS turned 14 yesterday. BM text him first thing in the morning, and called him a few times. He finally answered her call around 8 o'clock last night. He had friends over most of the day, and we were swimming and BBQing. They talked for less than 2 minutes. She immediately posted on FB "Finally talked to my boy today for his bday. So proud of how smart and strong he is". Ummmm.... you have no idea how smart and strong he is. NONE. But whatever.

Someone actually commented this time "is he still with your ex?"
BM- Yes, he lives with **DH's NAME**
- oh, i'm sorry
BM- It's ok, **DH** is a good dad

She LOVES to ignore the fact that I even exist. Not he lives with his dad and stepmom, and they are good parents. Just he lives with **DH** and she had to call DH out by name, twice, couldn't just say that he lives with his dad. Apparently having a child with DH is her claim to fame. Too bad I am the one that has raised him more than ANYONE else. Considering DH travels most of the year. Lame. She has no idea who her kid is anymore.

Anyway, SS had a great birthday. My mom made him a quilt out of some of his old baseball jersey's and he LOVES it.

Glad that SS had a great birthday.
As for the egg donor....she is just trying unsuccessfully to rile you up. Those people closest to you know your importance and love of this young man.
