Also sobbing knowing my SD22 will never admit how crappy she was to me and turn the corner like this girl/woman did.

Love it! How rare to see Stepkids admit they were horrible to their stepparent.

My problem with SS30 has

My problem with SS30 has never been how he treats me. He's sucked up big time as he thinks I have way more money, etc. than I do.

My issue with him is how he treats others. I cannot respect a non repentant alcoholic adult who physically abuses others. I don't care how "nice" he is to me.

I realize that alcoholism is a disease. And people often fail more than once before they can overcome the disease. But a person who doesn't even try even when offered multiple rehabs just isn't worth my time.
