Skids, SS26, SD24, and SD22 are all out to dinner with DH for an early Father's Day dinner. They requested to have dinner "alone with their dad" plus their spouses and the grandkids. So basically just me and my bios are left out. At first DH said he wouldn't go but I encouraged him to go. I do not want the backlash of them saying I'm keeping their father from them. Instead let him go alone and have to listen to their venom alone!!! He can be embarrassed at how wild the grandkids are alone. I hope granddaughter 1 1/2 and grandson 5 have their usually melt downs and throw fits so your embarrassed to be there.

I on the other hand am propped up in bed, pjs on, hair in a bun, and about to make a margarita so I can watch the new Lifetime movie in peace and quiet. Plus we have a huge brisket to smoke tomorrow and I've already made the sides. So tomorrow when I get home from work my bios will be back from their dads and we can have a nice Father's day dinner without having to deal with the steps!!! I'm really liking being left out it's so peaceful!
