Hurry up 4:00! DH will be getting off work, taking Thunderfoot to her gparents house and we are off to the lake for the entire weekend alone! It's supposed to rain all weekend, of course, but I don't even care! It will be so nice to not have her around!

I hope everyone else has a lovely weekend as well!!!

I'm jealous but hope you have a great time lol. Me and DH haven't even had a date in 5 years! Don't have anyone around that can watch them and even though SD is 15 I can't trust her enough (recent problems) to watch my 7 year old long enough to go out on our own. But I hope you have a great, peaceful, and fun time!

Gosh that's horrible! Thankfully (not for an entire weekend) Thunderfoot is capable of staying home alone if we want to go out for dinner or drinks.

Yeah it sucks. My DH got into an argument with his sister ( it has to do with SD's recent mistakes) and she is the one that used to watch the kids for us when we would go out for the night. She hasn't done it in like 5 years though. I don't have any family that I would feel comfortable leaving my kids with because my mother gets drunk all the time or pops so many pills that she doesn't even know where she is at times so def not leaving them there. As far as my sister she has her head so far up her boyfriend's ass she wouldn't be able to watch them anyway.

If Thunderfoot could be trusted...she could probably stay here alone. But since she's grounded...not a chance in hell! DHs parents would NEVER watch a child of mine but she's not so...there ya go. His parents are a bunch of drunks. They are retired and do nothing all day long! They get up just whenever...drink coffee until about 4...then switch over to booze. His mom isn't as bad as his dad but still...it's an everyday occasion.

Thanks! It will def be nice to not have to hear Daddy I want, Daddy I need Daddy Daddy Daddy all weekend!
