Found an Opportunity and I Took It!
Pay back is such a bitch and I loved every minute of it!
My SS13 came home with tickets for his awards night at school. He asked DH and I first, then he gave the last ticket to BM. For many years BM would get the tickets and ask the "flavor of the week" to go and leave DH alone for himself to keep me out of the skids lives.
So we went to the awards night. We walked in at the same time as BM and a mutual friend of ours did. We are also friends with the parents of the friend too who also came to the awards night.
The friend, myself and DH started talking about carpooling for a sports event that was on our time. BM starts getting involved. When it was time to sit down, the friend saves seats for her parents, BM sits next to her. I walk into the same isle with DH following me. He thought I was going to move down further.
I said to him "no, please allow me" and I sat next to BM. DH gave me the funniest grin.
When the friends parents arrived, they immediately said hello to us and then her Mom leans over in front of BM to talk to me. I could tell this was pissing BM off. How dare the "step mom" get any attention.
During the awards ceremony, I lean in front of BM to talk to the friend. I said something about the clothes the boys were wearing. I said it looked like their confirmation day all over again and we giggled. It was awesome...BM would not go to the SS's confirmation's. Even though she is the one who had the skids baptized at the church she picked for her and DH. The reason why...because I go to that church.
Some how in her twisted mind she looks at it as her kids are spending time with THAT woman, me!
After the awards there was a reception. BM walks in with the friends mom. I walked up to the mom and started talking. BM slithered away }:)
It was awesome all around. I am usually the one backing down, walking away and BM is in her glory. She always thinks she is putting me in my place. Uh, no more. I'm done with that shit.
