OT-end CS in Texas - is it prorated for last month or FULL month of CS?
For anyone dealing with Texas...when CS finished, was CS prorated for the last month, ie. kid turns 18 in the middle of the month or do you have to pay for the full last month?

In our case...it was
In our case...it was prorated. It stopped on his 18th birthday. But even then....DH actaully got a little money back after it stopped. They just sent him a check (small) about a month after it stopped.
And you are in Texas?
And you are in Texas? great...thanks!
Willow- I'm glad to hear you
Willow- I'm glad to hear you had good luck with Texas. I hope the same goes for us. DH is actually ahead and I hope they calculate it so at the end he hasn't overpaid.
Good luck to you herewegoagain. I hate to see so much stress added to parents who have worked for years and fulfilled their obligation.
Not in Texas (Utah), but for
Not in Texas (Utah), but for us CS goes to 18 or normal and expected HS graduation, whichever is later. SD turned 18 in May, normal graduation would have been first week of June. We paid for the full month of June. It also took us 3 months to get the ORS office to turn off the CS deduction, but we did get the full 3 month refund back once everything was processed. If we could have proved SD had dropped out of high school, we could have saved ourselves the month of June, but we didn't have proof she dropped out until the CS had been stopped anyway.
We got paid for an extra
We got paid for an extra month (July) because BM tried to emancipate SD in February & we did not have a graduation date (SD graduated and turned 18 in June). }:)
