Outrageous cs? Ha...a lady I met yesterday
I saw a lady yesterday that I met when I was little...she is divorced w/a 4yr old.
Her cs? And she works partime and makes tons...
1,300 cs & spousal support
apt mortgage fully paid by ex
car & cell fully paid by ex
kid's 500USD+ monthly paid by ex
insurance & medical for her & kid paid by ex
cleaning lady sometimes paid by ex
eow ex has kid 4 full days
she wanted divorce because she was no longer "in love"
her day? Take kid to school, all day off except 1 day every week max
she makes some phone calls and works for ex's family...w/salary
today was getting a 28k comission for the month...
I almost died! Ex had another kid after hers and of course she doesn't
believe 2nd kid is entitled to same cs as she came first!
My neighbor? A lawyer who pays pension/college for
his 4kids...he lives in 1k a month apt...R U kidding?
Another friend of mine also receives cs...has no mortgage & 2nd apt that "her ex is paying?" probably...kid has every toy & game console that exists...vacations anytime...private school paid
by ex, etc...
What is wrong w/this world? Supporting your child
is one thing, but this is outrageous...
My DH, kiddo & I live off less than that! How could
you need so much for one kid?
Of course, the women dress to kill, top cars, etc...amazing!

Yes, obviously...but geez! You chose to divorce someone who was not a bad father, abuser, etc and you are "entitled" to all that? Just seems ridiculous to me...I don't understand how they can lthink it's owed to them...amazing...
And the thing is, my DH has co-workers in their 40s-50s whose kids & ex-wives live like that and they are forced to live w/their parents because they can't afford to live on their own...just pathetic...
Her view is "her lifestyle has gone down & thus she has made a sacrifice!" amazing!
I will make sure to teach my son to find one of these divorced, money receiving women to marry...hehe...
I used to see them all where we used to live...I didn't know
a single divorced man living there, all divorcees were women...many remarried

Is it possible to claim undo hardship in NY state? $800/month is poverty-level...Christ you get more from unemployment benefits than that...

Here they take "the costs" of raising the child...costs of course provided by the BM, ie 500USD a month private school, etc...and parent's income and split based on % of parent's income...BM didn't work as soon as baby was born...this left her at a horrible disadvantage....she's only 33...she didn't work 3yrs!!! And so all costs were given to ex to pay...

OMG...this sounds like my BF's ex...except for she divorced him because she was cheating on him with her brother's childhood friend!!
She gets $1800 a month for both kids but wanted more!!! She says she needs the money to maintain the kids' lifestyle...yeah right, it's for her!
She and her lawyer tried to convince the judge that my BF had a roommate, therefore he could pay more cs.....he didn't have a roommate, he was supporting her kid brother!!! The boy didn't have anywhere to go so my BF let him stay with him.....the young man didn't pay rent, for food, clothes or school....my BF paid for everything.
She got the Benz, he pays for insurance for the kids, had pay her alimony, the back cs she claimed (which was a crock of poo) and half of daycare.
All the while....she lives on an Army base with her soon to be husband....doesn't pay rent or for any of the benefits there....
I raised my son on a lot less than that, and he never went without. He plays the sports he wants to play and received toys, within reason, I didn't spoil him....all WITHOUT the support of his father!! She gets $1800 in addition to her pay.....geez $1800 was my monthly salary!!!!
