First day of school for the SK.

any other full time step parents beyond relieved that they finally have the day to themselves?

School started on Friday for us and my DD4 just started pre-k. I thought SD11 was gonna finally be out of my hair but she's out another week due to someone having COVID in her class. The icing on the cake is that her BM told us nothing about it and she's been around everyone smh

School holidays in Ontario (I think all of Canada?) are July and August.  Kids go back after Labour Day in September.  So we're just shy of the halfway mark here.
