... college "move in" day cannot come fast enough for me to have some space away from sd, Princess?!

She is ready to drive me insane. She whines all the time that we never spend time together anymore. She and her bio-mom had a falling out in June, and know SD is telling everyone I'm her ONLY mom. But when she is around, all she does is belittle me or act defiant. Doesn't create a real warm and fuzzy feeling, ya know?

So I invite her to go with me and Gibby to the grandparents' summer house, since Loghead and the ss will be out of town. She's all excited and can't wait to go. She has to work days, but plans to come over in the late afternoons when she gets off work, since it's near her job. The first day? There's a really bad storm and the mall closes early. She 'forgets' to come, so she spends the night, home alone, during terrible storms. The next day, she ends up working later than planned, so she can't swim with us, then decides she's too tired to eat. She goes to her guest room and falls asleep at like 5:30 in the evening, and did not wake up till the next day, around noon. She eats a bagel and then says she has to leave, since she has plans with friends.

I was annoyed, and yes, my feelings were hurt. But I didn't want to make her feel guilty and stay. If I'd forced her to stay, she would have been unbearable.

So we're back home now. Everyone except PITA, who's staying at bio-mom's this week. She sleeps until 1pm and then gets up to go to work. She sends me a random text about being passive agressive, and that I need to pray that God will help me make the changes necessary in my life to be happy... WTH?!

When I got home last night, she was locked away in her room. I guess during the storm, she tore apart Gibby's room looking for a flashlight, and made a terrible mess. I told her to clean it up. I rented a movie for just me and Loghead, but invited her to come out and watch. She declined. I could hear her on the phone until late in the night. So she totally missed us all hanging out in the kitchen making pancakes and listening to SS tell stories about being on the temp job site with Loghead.

She's the one hiding away and avoiding what goes on in this house. At least I deal with it head on. And since she hides away, she misses all the fun and happiness.

She is driving me crazy...
