Can she get crazier?
I know I have cut communication with Loca Grande, but that doesn't mean I can't be amazed by her stupidity, and have to share it with my Step Friends...
She was too "tired" to drive the hour and a half to get Lazy Boye, so she convinced Princess to drive him to the city near her house and she'd take them to dinner. Princess took the bait, and took her friend and Lazy Boye up there. Loca Grande bragged about getting her tax refund and went on a shopping spree with them. It so looks like she and Princess shopped at Whores R Us, and none of the clothing meets school dress code. Princess wanted to do a fashion show when she got home, and my tongue is sore from biting it in order to keep my opinion to myself.
I asked if she bought Lazy Boye the track shoes he really needs. She said she didn't know, cause she left early to get home before the curfew her dad had set. Princess did know that Loca Grande bought him a $120 skate board at the specialty shop in the mall.
I don't know what's more ridiculous- the price- or the fact we live on a gravel road with no pavement for skate board for nearly 3 miles. He's 14 so it's not like he can actually get himself to some place to actually use it.
But wait! It gets crazier! She bought a prom dress and heels for Princess's friend! Ok, I can see buying dinner or a movie ticket for a kid's friend, but a PROM DRESS?!?! That's weird...
And FYI- Loca Grande did show the skids the text messages from yesterday that led to my cut in communication. And Princess had the nerve to tell me I was wrong for requesting Loca Grande talk to Loghead about taking the skids out of the country!
So great, she got her tax refund back, but why not use it in a constructive way? The skids don't need clothes right now. Loghead lost his job. They need their lunch bill paid. Princess needs money for her school trip and her dorm deposit. Lazy Boye needs track shoes. PITA needs braces, which she promised to pay for (and is in the most recent mediation papers) and has since decided she won't pay...
Stupidity frustrates me.

I hear ya, our BM has a
I hear ya, our BM has a similar "MO". Always buying her way into SS's life and when it comes to what he needs, she doesn't have any money. Well, Karma is great b/c right now she has a warrant out for her arrest that was issued by a judge for not showing up to her contempt hearing. Talked to our attorney and he said that the sheriff's department is out "actively" looking for her. THe other wonderful thing is that she's behind by 3 months on child support, so they won't let her bail out when they do get her until she pays her back child support, and most likely, they won't let her post bail because she's considered a flight risk (the contempt hearing was set because she didn't show for an enforcement hearing for being behind). The best part about all this is that WE DIDN'T DO ANY OF THIS. The state of PA has a very rigorous system that automatically sets all of this up, so it's not our fault and we can't be blamed (although we still will be).
I guess my point is that someday, Karma will bite her in the A**.
When custody was finalized
When custody was finalized nearly 13 years ago, she was (and still is) so mentally unstable, she couldn't keep a job. For whatever reason, child support was no issued. All expenses for the children have been paid for by my husbands (and me). She claims to buy school clothes- but they never meet dress code policy so they don't wear them. She buys school supplies- but like the cheap crayons that break after one use.
Her only expense is transportation to and from her house, and making sure she can cover their needs EOW weekend when they visit. And since Princess started driving she pawns most of that off on her, and then pays her back a small sum to cover Princess's gas...
