I've got to get out of this house!
Seriously. I have not set foot outside my house since I got home from my family reunion on Wednesday. It's too damn hot! Ok-wait. We did go to library story time Thursday. Ok- since Thursday, I have not left my house. I have spent the last three days in my pjs.
I must get out of this house. Away from my much loved bio-son, Gibby. He's 8. I can't take any more Disney or Nickelodeon.
I must get away from my skids; the sound of the dishwasher; the piles of laundry to wash; the dogs... I am spening all my time reading, facebooking and steptalking. I do my rubber badn excercises and step aerobics. I can't get to the treadmill, cause it's in the garage, on the back of our farm.
I live 10 miles from town. It only has a gas station and a small grocers. The biggest towns are 30 miles in any direction. But I have no need to go out "window shopping." Like Gibby said today, if we go out, we just wanna buy stuff.
Ugh. I have to do something soon. I know I have a doctor's appointment next Thursday, and I do get to go out of town alone next weekend to go to a friend's wedding.
Loghead will be out of town Sunday- Tuesday for his temp job. He's taking his older boys with him. Maybe Gibby, Princess and I should go back to my parents' vacation home. At least there I can sit on the beach and dip my toes in the lake while Gibby and Princess swim and I read...

Not all of them are boxes in the woods. Some are magnetic keyholders on benches at parks or in lamp posts in parking lots and geocachers do a lot of events, at least in my area. I was just at a picnic yesterday. I've found geocaching, when we get time, gets us out, costs pretty much nothing after the cost of the gps and is actually relaxing. Depending on what type of hide you are looking for you can get a lot of exercise.

WE keep our horses at my BIL's farm. No, we have goats. They're only entertaining for so long. Geocaching is big around here! I hadn't even thought of that!
We decided this morning to head to the vacation house. Princess will come over in the evenings when she gets off work. Gibby and I are loading the car now...
Loghead and Lazy Boye left for the temp job site this morning. PITA is staying with bio-mom for a few days.
