Loghead and I went to the midnight show last night. It's been a tradition for us- ever since movie 4 came out. I am a HUGE Potter fan, so we've been planning this night for months. Loghead arranged to get Gibby home and in bed before coming back into towm (30 miles from home) to meet me in line. We were first! That thrilled me, since I've been first in line for each HP movie and each Twilight movie. (Yes, i love wizards, vampires and werewolves- I clearly have issues...)

I loved it! I had been dreading it a little, really, since I hated book 7. But this adaptation really showed growth and maturity. I was surprised by the deep emotions and the powerful impact I felt. I mean really, if you come away feeling sorry for Malfoy, you have to know they've done something right!

i'm sad to know this particular tradition will end when Part II comes out... It's really the only time Loghead and I go to the movies together...
