SS is up DH's butt
I don't know how he can handle it. The kid is hanging all over him. Literally. Laying all over his lap, hanging around his neck...
DH walks into the bathroom, the kid waits outside the door.
If DH stops walking, the kid will literally bump into him.
DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD! DAD!
Then god forbid if my own DH tries to talk to me or sit next to me. SS practically loses his mind. He's SOOOOOOO BORED!!!!
Now, on an intellectual level I look at the kid and I feel sorry for him. He may be almost 11 years old, but his "need" for his dad is still at a 6 or 7 year old level. I would say that, clearly, his step-dad isn't fulfilling that certain need. The kid appears absolutely STARVED for male attention. Which is really, really sad. Too bad BM can't see what I see...
However, on a "I have to look at it and pretend it's not weird" level -- it's super annoying.
I honestly don't know how DH can handle it.
On a personal note for what directly impacts ME: my DH better take care of the fact that the kid has been ASKED 3 times to not sit on the arm of the sofa. I've let DH do it his way. If I catch the kid doing it just one more time, I'm going to do it my way. And my way doesn't include ASKING.
Fuck I hate having him here. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
He is so freaking intrusive.
Now the kid is whining about the fact that I'm watching TV and he wants to play the Wii. Oh hell to the no. That shit is NOT going to happen again this weekend!!!!

when he stands outside the
when he stands outside the bathroom door, does he say "dad? are you pooping?" that is what sd always did. and that idiot was a teenager! what is wrong with these disgusting leeches, besides the fact that they are disgusting leeches? :O
The kid is honestly really,
The kid is honestly really, really starved for male attention. It is so clear!
However, holy smoke, BOUNDARIES kid - BOUNDARIES!!!
When someone stops walking, you should not be bumping into them because you were walking so close to them.
When someone is in the bathroom, it's a good sign they need a moment of privacy. Waiting outside the door and talking to them through the door is just rude.
And.... *drum roll please*
OMG! THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU!! I REALLY DO NOT GIVE A FLYING MONKEY THAT YOU WANT TO PLAY THE WII!
HAHAHA!! I know, isn't this
HAHAHA!! I know, isn't this site awesome?!?!
I can't stand this kid. I will be completely honest. The sound of his voice makes my skin crawl. Looking at him... well, put it this way: I try not to.
I'll be honest: I actually
I'll be honest: I actually want to go shower, put my pj's on and then go to bed. However, I am not ready to let SS have the TV yet.
So I just started a movie.
Am I a cruel, evil, horrible bitch, or what?? }:)
You are too funny! But I
You are too funny!
But I would do the same thing.
Well, the last time SS was
Well, the last time SS was here, DH and SS flat-out disregarded the fact that I was watching TV and just "took" the TV while I was in the bathroom. Then they both looked *surprised* that I was pissed. I was never apologized to -- from either person -- for being so flagrantly disregarded and disrespected.
So yeah, I am bound and determined to hog the TV every minute I can for his whole visit.
I may even "misplace" the Wii controller.
Just because...
HAHAHHA LOVE IT!! About
HAHAHHA LOVE IT!! About putting the movie on so SS doesn't get the TV
SS10 is kind of like that
SS10 is kind of like that with me. If I'm in the kitchen he needs to be in there to "help" If I'm sitting on the couch watching tv he has to lay on me. I think it's because he doesn't get any mommy attention at home which is really sad. I don't know why sea donkey doesn't pay attention to him he's such a sweetheart.
SD12 does the same thing -
SD12 does the same thing - okay, she doesn't hang outside the bathroom door. When she was 8, she wanted to sleep in the same bed as DH. He was okay with it, but I was NOT. I put an end to that. Boundaries!! Yes, she is 12, but has the emotional mentality of I don't know a 7 year old?? I feel bad that she may be starved for attention, but is that it? Maybe she is clingy because she doesn't want me near him. He says she isn't like that when I'm not around.
Do you think it could be jealousy with your skids?
