Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I just turned it on
and saw the part where the girl was smoking in her room and blew smoke in the SM's face. Sorry, but I would have smacked her right then and there!
You have to let us know how it turns out.
We only get lifetime here on pay TV and unfortunatly we dont have pay TV.
If you could let us know how could it is I may see if I can hire it.
sorry, but
a M*A*S*H marathon is on now and that trumps any Lifetime movie!
I don't have lifetime either
please let us know how it turns out!
Okay, well, I must say while
Okay, well, I must say while the problems they portrayed are very real, and they did paint the stepmother is a GREAT light, it also somewhat dismissed the stepmother's role of being married to the dad and made the dad &BM's relationship more important, and focused on the daughters feelings as the most important because she was a child of divorce. It actually showed the stpmom inviting the BM to spend the night at their house and be an activate participate in a "divorce ceremony" where dad & BM told each other how much they meant to one another when they were married and apologized to the daughter for divorcing without consulting her. Then SM took a picture of the three of them! Sorry, but so not realistic in my opinion and reduces SM to a bystander in "their" family. I thought it was going to be good and realistic, but towards the middle to end it just irritated me!
