It's friday SS is at my house now, can anyone send me a drink?

Just the thought of going home after work, knowing that SS is their, is making me soooooo not want to go home.

SD isn't coming this weekend, instead she decided to go visit her boyfriend in a different city. She is only 14, can't believe BM said ok, and that DH didn't so boo to it. Oh well, at least I have taught her about birthcontrol, and have provided her with condoms.

Do you have to go straight

Do you have to go straight home after work? Why not stop off and do a little shopping, or catch a happy hour somewhere? It's Friday. I'm sure someone at work is catching a happy hour somewhere. If you don't feel comfortable with that, there's book stores, the mall, the movie theater, getting your car detailed, or lots of other things to put off the inevitable just a little while longer.

I would go and do something else, but my youngest got a concussion yesterday, and is home (with DH), and I just want to get home to him to be with him and make sure he is ok. Otherwise, we have happy hour every friday at my work, it goes from 4:30 - when ever the last person leaves, so I would be staying for that! lol!

I have a SD14 and if I thought she was having sex I would probably flip out. I would definitely talk to her about safe sex and wouldn't care what boundaries I overstepped there, smart is smart and dumb is dumb. But I would also REALLY give her a talking to about the emotional aspect of it because frankly, no 14 year old has any business having sex. Matter of fact, depending on the boy's age, it might even be a felony!

Her and her boyfriend are the same age. I told her to wait and all the other happy happy stuff, but from what I can remember, as soon as an adult tells you "don't have sex" "don't drink" as a teenager, you run out and get pee your pants drunk and have sex with the first boy you see.

I was a bit of a wild child, didn't help that my parents were big time hippies and really didn't care where I went or what I did. It drives my kids and Step kids crazy though cause I was so bad, I know all the things that teenagers can get up to and I catch them out on everything every time!

I'm a realy strict parent, I guess that is because I feel my parents were a bit on the leniant (sp) side.
