So after last weekends birthday fiasco, I am wondering if SD will be coming with us or if she will be throwing a fit come tomorrow afternoon when DH is to go get her. We are going to Mammoth Cave KY this weekend with my sister and her 4 boys, and my mom. We are also meeting my Aunt and Uncle from Alabama down there. They have never gotten to see my two girls yet due to the distance. They also haven't met SD or DH, so I am excited! I just hope SD is in a good mood for the weekend and doesn't bring her "everything makes me pout" attitude.

It is about 7.5 hours one way for us. This is the longest we will all be in a car together so wish us luck! I have a feeling we are going to need it. My oldest (3 years) and SD will NOT be sitting next to each other due to the fact that a 10 minute car ride usually turns into WWIII with them... "mom, SD is looking out my window!!!" "daaadddyyy G@#$%^ keeps touching me!" You can imagine the anxiety. I once heard that you aren't a real parent until you swing blindly into the backseat to break up a fight, and man isn't that the truth!
