DH has both SD17 and BM blowing up his phone while he was in a meeting at work yesterday. SD17 was forwarding texts with the comment, "mom's being crazy, I'm at school, I don't know what to do" and BM was forwarding the same texts, saying, "SD17 is being a coldhearted ungrateful brat."

See, BM sent SD17 a package, which arrived on Monday. SD17, being a typical overscheduled teenager who has a very shaky relationship with her mother, hasn't called BM to acknowledge it, and more importantly, hasn't called her (10YO) younger brother to thank him for what he put in there. BM called SD17's cell phone, NOT the house phone, while SD17 was in the bath. By the time she got out, it was 10 pm, so she didn't call back. BM started the text barrage the next morning, complete with guilt trip and suggestion that SD17 talk to her therapist about her 'unnatural coldheartedness and lack of proper feelings for her family.'

The whole thing made me giggle. Nobody out me in the middle, and they really don't want to - they know I would tell BM exactly what I really think of her, especially over text.
