Heart Breaking Sight
I have mentioned once or twice that my SS14 is a little Drama King and a hypochondriac. He gets it from his mother. She has has every illness in the book and LOVES to use her autistic son to get attention, even tho she is not a part of his life.
Last night we were all settled in for a night of movies. (We are a NON-sports family and could not care less about the Super Bowl) We were watching Finding Dory. When I heard some noises coming from SS14's area. I looked over and could see he was frowning and struggling. A while later he got up and took some tylenol. 30 minutes later he was crying with a migraine. Poor kid. I know he gets acute migraines; we haven't figured out what his triggers are yet. I suffer from chronic migraine and know the pain.
Seeing him cry, broke my heart. We sent him to bed with a cold pack. No matter how frustrated I get with him in the normal stinky teenager day to day; no one deserves that.

Oh Migraines SUCK! I'm lucky
Oh Migraines SUCK! I'm lucky - I only get them once or twice a year. My mother, brother, and grandma all get them every two months or so. My mom tried Imitrex (I think that's the one) and it didn't do much for her.
Poor kiddo!
Was he drinking red wine
Was he drinking red wine while watching the movie? Just kidding of course, but I started migraines as a teenager and I found generally mine were sulfate induced... so drinking red wine, eating a hot dog or eating aged cheese or anything with sulfates in it of any kind was pretty much guaranteed to give me a migraine.
BS7 will complain of a head ache every once in a great while and it really upsets me, he's also had a couple of bouts in the middle of the night with what I think are growing pains? IDK. it wakes him up and he just thrashes around and complains that he leg hurts (points to his knee)so I give him Tylenol and he falls back to sleep and in the morning he's fine. But again, there is nothing worse than seeing your child in pain![Sad](https://prod-cdn-1.ststatic.com/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/kolobok/sad.gif)
I am on Topamax myself. It
I am on Topamax myself. It has saved me from 4 a month to now maybe 6 a year. Which is a damn sight better! I know exactly what you mean.![Wink](https://prod-cdn-1.ststatic.com/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/kolobok/wink.gif)
That's why I was so upset seeing him in pain. I know what it is like. And I don't like to see my PunkinHead hurting like that; even if he does stink like a teenager.
