Call EVERY fri. that dh is to pick them up and ask "Are you picking the skids up today?" I mean EVERY single time! Ummmm Yes it is MY weekend duh!

Last night she called to 'make' sure that dh was going to be there. I mean come on this time it was on thursday not fri wanting to know if dh was going to be there.

He finally told her that if it is his weekend to just plan on him being there unless he calls her. It is just so annoying and she does it in a way that seems as if she doesn't believe he will pick them up or that she does really want him too. It has been 8 years woman get over it!

Do you have our BM?????

Every week like clock work......."are you getting SD today?"

DH has told her the same thing, in fact each time she calls........"yes, it's my day. I'll be there at the same time I always am". Still she doesn't get it !!!!

I think it's an OCD or control thing. No matter it's very annoying!

YES! I hate, hate, hate it ! she will also call if she is dropping him off, the first call comes when she leaves the house, then when she is on the highway, then when she gets of the highway, then on the road to the subdivision, then when she turns into the subdivision and finally when she is in front of the house.

Here is what my DH does. On Wednesday or Thursday nites he will send an email to BM stating that he will be at blah blah blah at blah blah blah, as usual. Nothing more, nothing less. It shut her up too. Give it some thought.

my dh does this (calls her to verify times and dates) because we've gone over there ASSUMING she would be home, and didn't show up for 1 hour with the kids...and we sat and waited-which i HATE doing. i call my ex and verify EVERY friday because at times he'll send someone else and times come himself, and many times at different times and i just like to know who to watch for and expect and what time (there is no order for that yet, he's supposed to pick her up from school/daycare, due to distance he doesn't ne more). another reason my dh does this is because he wants HIS kids to know that he WILL be there or i will and they WILL NOT be forgotten.

i went through that as a child (waiting for a daddy that never arrived) so it's ME making sure within my control, that my dd and skids WILL NOT experience that. (i remember like yesterday standing at a front door looking out side on a rainy night crying cause my dad never showed up (about the time he left me and my brother(s)-i have a half i've met once), and my bro and i fell asleep at the door-yes my mom regrets allowing us to do that and not keeping us occupied

it's annoying, but let her have that reassurance

But you see dh is there EVERY time he is supposed to pick them he never misses unless they are sick and will all and let her know. The place never changes and he will pick them when he gets off. The time does very but that doesn't matter as then boys are never ready. She uses that as an excuse to call but she never gets them ready. That really irks me as we have to wait at least 15 mins for them to get their crap together. If you are not going to get them ready then what is the point of calling to know the time??? :?

Oh yes! Add in Tuesdays and Thursday's when we have the kids in the evenings. She does it in a way that makes it seem like he forgets all the time which he NEVER does. I'm so glad to have other people who understand these little annoyances!
