What do you think of ex calling your dh silly names?

Yuck has this thing that she will call my dh things like fart sniffer or turd or brat all with a joking manner. Its kind of pathetic really.

Anyway I didnt say a whole lot about it b/c to me it wasnt a hill to die on. however dh doesnt like it at all and I had no idea. with everything I was/am going through he didnt want to bother me with it. Last night I guess he couldnt take it any more and vented me to me. He said he thinks she lost right a very long time ago which i did agree with. But I looked at him and said "then tell her" duh lol.

So does anyone else have a bm does this?

LOL love them. except if he does it back she might think 'see he still loves me'. Yep that is how she thinks

That lady needs to grow the eff up already! Maybe he should smile at her and say "well at least I'm a good parent". What my mom always told me {I had 2 older brothers} was "don't give it attention and they will get bored with it" but this BM needs a slap in the face IMO. Lol dog her like the dog she is.. Wink His smile will say it isn't going to work on him anymore.

My Skids BM will on occasion attempt to take my DH down memory lane and I encouraged him to shut her down. He says "I'm glad them days are over" in front of the Skids who she's also trying to show off to and he moves on. Skids acted like they were holding in a giggle and it isn't as fun for her anymore.

I'd hope the BM doesn't do such 'joking' names in front of the kids. Can you imagine the first time the child called his mom/dad 'hey turd sniffer'. :O

But yeah, if it is annoying to your husband (which I certainly can understand why) I'd consider hanging up on her every time she says something inappropriate. Perhaps walk off mid-conversation if she's doing it in person. There's nothing 'cute n funny' about calling people names as if she's back in middle school. If he starts the 'jokingly' name calling back it might encourage her to 'up' the game.

Yep I know but you know men. Anyway I just told him to tell her to stop talking to him like that. They only talk mainly about the kids now. but she seems to think they get along enough to do this and dh hates it. So i told he needs to shut it down. lol

The last time BM giggled & called DH "asshole", he called her a "dumb bitch" (without the giggle). She hasn't called him names again. Well, I'm sure she's called him names since, but not to his face.

My dh calls her yuckopotmas. lol but only to me. im going to see how it goes and the next time he complains ill just tell to just tell her to stop if not stop complaining to me lol

OMG you guys are killing me with these names! BM doesn't try to do the cutesy insult thing - when she does insult, she means it. However, she used to try to call him "doll" and sign her texts with little kissy faces, until he told her that he was no one's doll and to grow the fuck up.

some of our fun nicknames for BM:
