O/T - Cocker spaniel mix pup in need of a home - Denver, CO
Hey all,
A coworker of mine was given a cocker spaniel mix puppy for Christmas (black and white), male, 6 weeks old but he can't keep the little guy. He's looking to find a good home for him. We're in the Denver area and he knows I used to do animal rescue/vet assistant work so he's asked me to help.
Not sure what the other breed is but the dog will likely stay under 25lbs. My buddy took him to the vet and he has a URI (upper respiratory infection) and is currently on antibiotics, but is doing well and will fully recover with no long-term effects. He'll be rehomed for no adoption fee and will come with his first set of vaccines and plenty of puppy food.
Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who may be. I can get him to email me a pic to pass along.
Thanks!

FB the little guy if you can.
FB the little guy if you can. We had a stray puppy wind up on our front door 2 days before Christmas. We would have loved to keep him, but already have a dog and 4 cats and decided we just don't need another animal to feed etc. I really didn't want to take him to the shelter though, so I put a picture of him and a little blurb on FB, a couple of my friends shared with their friends and within 6 hours he was en route to his new home. Good luck!!!

Thanks, I plan to at lunch time. My boss is on my FB so I can't do it until break time. I also forwarded my coworker a list of no-kill shelters here just in case we both can't come up with a good home for him soon.
I can't help myself when it comes to animals. I know *I* can't take him in with my cat and all, but if I could, I would do it. At one point in a large home on a few acres in Michigan, I was fostering 10 animals. It was difficult and expensive, but eventually they all found great homes.

Update - little pup found a good home with my friend's neighbor over the weekend. He's pretty relieved it worked out that way since he can go see him whenever he wants. He'd grown attached to the pup in the week that he had him.
I'm glad all I can have in our apartment is a cat. I LOVE dogs and want to have them again someday, but apartment life and working full time is just not my idea of an ideal dog situation, you know?
