There was a fire in my office building recently.

We've all been displaced into another building... with limited tools/resources - basically, only our laptops.

There was a team who went in to get essential items... the only thing I asked for is the usb key that was plugged into my laptop.

Presumably, when they unhooked everything from the laptops to take them away to clean before giving them back to us, the usb key was unplugged, as was my mouse, phone charger, connection cable for my 2nd monitor, and keyboard...

was just told the key was not located.

It wouldn't be such a big deal, if the key didn't hold all my wedding pictures. I do have some saved, but frig.... I'm not happy.
