Ss returned home around noon. We let him know that his mom had texted around 3:30 on Saturday asking to talk. I suggested that he could call her if he wanted and that he could blame everything on us and not mention the "stalker": ( he didn't know he got out, dad took me somewhere with the other kids, I didn't know, etc).

Ss14 stated he didn't want to speak with her.

He has his court ordered call tonight. I'm sure there will be more.

In our conversation last night, he asked if he could spend less time at his moms. Maybe skip his extended visits on holidays and summer. We told him that any changes will need to be worked out between him and his mom. It's usually simpler if he HS an activity (that she won't take him to) and just to blame the activity rather than him ask to not go to her house. She doesn't want to take him (can't waste that hs money) but if he doesn't have a reason she accuses him of picking dad over her... Let's not forget that his friends, family and life are all here. She lives in a very crime- ridden city (they even shit the fast food restaurants down from 3-5 because kids steal after school). He's afrsid to go outside at her house, she ignores him and drinks / gets stoned. And he basically just sits there listening to her tell him he's the most important prt if her life.
