Ss got to spend Mother's Day weekend with his mom (which of course meant that I got to have the weekend alone with my husband and children and yes. It was fantastic)

So ss tells us that his mom asked him if he wanted to go with her to get her nails done on Sunday. He decided not to go.

She also asked him about his plans for high school. He told her he "might" be going to a private school and she immediately told him she was t going to help pay. Ss14 just rolled his eyes and said he knew. (Why would she start to contribute now ... And why does she even care. She wouldn't even help him with financial aid forms earlier this year when he had his eyes set in the more expensive schools.

Lucky her. If ss goes to private school she won't have to take him to football practice during her summer time visits. Lucky her. She can still tell people she's a struggling single mother and her son is in private school. (She sees him eowe and pays no child support)

And in ither news, did I mention I had a lovely beach weekend getaway with my dh and my kids? Dh even bit me a new toy that I've had my eye on.
