SS is behind level on his reading. H and I got him some summer tutoring for this. He is to go Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 11am. BM was on board that he needed tutoring. She is not working so she agreed to take SS to tutoring it is 5 miles from her house.

The tutor we got is a 2nd grade teacher in the county where SS goes to school and she has her Masters in Childrens Reading. Well tutor calls today to tell that SS did not come to tutoring. She said BM told her SS had a dentist appt and she forgot about it. She call the tutor at 9:30 and SS was to be there at 10. Last night H talk to SS and BM and BM told H the dentist appt was at 3.

I am so aggravated as is H. We obtain SS a GREAT tutor and BM is going to blow it thus making SS and everyone else life HELL for the 3rd grade because his reading is way behind. She is not working and has to drive 5 miles to drop him off and 5 miles back to get him. Just 2 days a week one hour a day!!! We know the tutor quite well and she stated that she is going to keep record for us for when he shows up, does not show up, how BM acts to her and the kid, etc. We are going to court in Sept for 50/50 time with SS. Will what the tutor keeps help us especially is she has all the time BM just bailed on taking SS to tutoring. I just do not see why she would not want him to go so he could get better at reading, boost his confidence, and not make homework time so grueling next year. H is calling her to see how tutoring went and of course she will not answer.
