surprise visit..... from child support... at our door

Yesterday afternoon there was a knock on our door and I thought it was somebody selling something. They asked if my oldest ss was here. I informed them that I haven't seen him in over 6 months. But my dh saw him 1 1/2 months ago. Well they said they were there looking for him on behalf of the child support agency!!! I told them we would try to contact him an let him know to get hold of them.
Dh finally got hood of him today. Ss21 knew they were looking for him. He said the government is full of crap an he's not taking a paternity test...but will give the girl $200 each week...straight up front. Hubby tried telling to get the test and go thru Csea to party. He won't listen....WOW!!!
we do know the baby is a boy. But we don't know who the girl is. And if this is his child, we want to see our grandbaby.
(we don't know if MMM knows or not, we are guessing she doesn't)

Great another messed up family!! Grrrrrrr

Hubby thinks we should call MMM to let her know. I told him no, if ss wants her to know he will tell her. As last night when dh went out his friends knew about ss. I was like wow, even complete strangers knew before us.
So do you all think we should tell her?

I don't think you need to tell BM anything. Your SS is an adult. Like my DH's adult kids, he apparently thinks he can make the rules. Welcome to the real world. He cannot decide what he is paying the woman who had what may be his baby-probably is his baby.

If the child support agency is looking for him, she must have named him as the dad or possible dad. He needs to grow up, take the test, and then if he is the dad, he has to pay CS. Sounds to me like he is indeed the dad, but now he has to go through the court system.

And I would not count on seeing a grandbaby any time soon, if your SS is acting like this.

No matter which way he would contact her, she would call.then cry an Bitch about"I'm to young to b a g 'ma" and it would just continue on.

She won't leave a vm. She will just keep calling and calling and calling ect.......

I'm sorry... I'm still stuck on the fact that the CS folks CAME LOOKING FOR SS.

They usually mail something, file court motions, send certified, etc.

But go looking for them?!?!? WTF?!?

That is exactly what I don't understand. I've been dealing with Cs for going on15 yrs, and al l i've ever seen were letters mailed.
our the cops serving a warrant for non payment.
