Movie: The Other Woman.

This is a movie made in 2009 with Natalie Portman. It got terrible reviews. I thought it was brilliant.

Why did it get shitty reviews? Because its a story about a woman who has an affair with a man, gets pregnant, marries the man. The man has a 11 year old son. She has trouble bonding with him. You see the dynamic of the second "family". The ex wife is a tyrant.

The reviewers feel that Natalie's character is "unsympathetic".

I watched this movie yesterday, then read the reviews and was surprised by them. Then I thought "Steptalkers will appreciate this movie".

Please, watch this movie!!!

I saw it too and thought it was good, but agree with Mazzy that I wish that Natalie's character had met her DH other than by having an affair. However, I think we all have to move on at some point so I didn't like Lisa Kudrow's character either (but she did a great job in that part).

Not to ruin the movie for anyone....but she says something to the boy at the end of the movie....which I think negated her and the "step" dynamic.

That being said, the whole time I'm watching the movie, I'm thinking "Leave him!!!" "Move On!!" "You're better off without him!!".

I thought it was good and I thought Lisa Kudrow was totally intimidating as the BM!!!

It was really sad at times and made me cry re. Natalie's experience in the movie.

I was glad it ended the way it did, definitely worth watching as a step!!

Smile Even i was the movie and felt bad for the lady who story is shown in this movie. A woman has to see all this day when her bad luck follows her. Nice idea to direct such kind of movie too. It is real case study movie which we can see in our society also. Bollywood actors
