Thanks for all the responses to my last blog.  The holiday weekend was busy and then I had surgery yesterday.  I'm home and feeling pretty good.  I re-read that last blog and futurobrillante posed some good questions.  i did answer yes to all those questions and I feel good about my relationship and upcoming wedding.  This morning SO told me that both BM1 and SD18 were texting him yesterday - BM1 wanted answers to questions about SD16's savings acct money (the one SO set up for her) and SD18 wanted him to pick her up and take her to her BMs house to get some of her stuff.  He told them both that his only focus was taking care of me.  SD18 texted him hours later to "check on me" and when he told her I was sleeping, she asked again if he could come get her.  His answer was no.  I do feel like he puts me first (especially over and above any petty things SD18 wants).   It appears he's taking a harder stance when it comes to her - he says it hard for him to stand by and do next to nothing but understands that he can't enable her either.  He's making it clear he will do for SD18 at his convenience and not whenever she asks.  I do love him so.  Hope he stays strong for his sake and for her sake.
