What are you thankful for??

So over here in the UK we don't celebrate thanksgiving but another blog today inspired me to say what I'm thankful for.

I thank my lucky stars everyday for my children. They are my greatest achievements in life and I would lay down my life for them. They are my world and I tell them that everyday. Thanks kids for teaching me the patience I so needed lol, and also for teaching me what unconditional love is.
I am thankful for my husband who is an amazing man. He is very handsome(even if I do say so myself), he's so very funny and he gets me. I feel safe in his arms which to me is the most important. Thanks DH for teaching me how to love like I've never been hurt.
I am thankful to my mum who raised me on her own (I truly had a deadbeat dad) and has taught me how to be a strong and independent woman. Thanks mum you will never truly know how much I love you.

And today ladies (like most days for the past year) I'm thankful for you ladies (and men) out there. You have taught me to open up and let the anger out. I can always count on you to tell me what I need to hear (even if it's not what I want to hear) and I know you will always put me on the right path. Thanks ladies for being my friend when I needed it most.

I am thankful for my beautiful beautiful 6 year old daughter who has taught me so much about myself and who is so wise for someone so small. For my husband strong and passionate who is just the bees knees and I love is predictable ways. And My beautiful amazing mother who has won her battle with breast cancer and gives her lupus a kick in the ass and lives life like everyday is a great one. My dad who taught me that people who love you can really mess you up and break your heart and make you feel unworthy. But I will always be thankful he got me on this earth and I know he loves me dispite what he has shown the last two decades. I am even thankful for my SD's who have shown me how to not back down and be strong and love those who don't love you back. And last but not least my boss who gives me the oppurtunity to go into work everyday and face 10 thousand different emotions when trying to help change other people's lives. I do not care for the man but I love what he stands for.

I am thankful for life, thankful for my DH, my son, my family, a job to provide financial stability, and thankful for my skids, they show me every time we have them that I am a great Mom and raised a responsible, loving, caring and wonderful son.

I am so thankful that my DH is done paying his CS and we hopefully won't have to deal with any of BM's drama anymore!!

I am thankful that my DH and I have both recently received raises and are making some good bank now - especially since ALL of our hard earned money goes to benefit US. (I have no problem with CS as long as it is being used for the benefit of the child, not as replacement alimony)

I am thankful that my DH turned into such a great hard-working man when he grew up and not a drunken loser looking at jail time like my BIL.

I am thankful that my kid/skids are healthy and seem happy. I am thankful that both my parents are still alive and doing well.

I am thankful for all of the good things that I am blessed with: Family, friends, employment, the ability to meet basic needs. I am also thankful for my challenges (not always at the time), they are difficult, but once overcome, I feel braver, smarter and stronger than before. I am thankful for the capability to grow and change from experiences both good and bad.

I'm thankful for my DH and how loving and amazing he is. I'm thankful for family and friends craziness and all, animals, pretty good SS who is smart, loving, and accepting of others. Thankful for having good health, plenty of food, overcoming anexoria for the most part, work, bills paid accept for some medical ones, home is paid for, vehicles are running good however I can't drive the truck {stick shift}, and I'm thankful for this site and the amazing ladies here. Also thankful for everything we own. Wink

I am soo sooo thankful that DH & I have been getting along so well the past like 5/6 months. I feel like we worked out a lot of the 'new marriage bumps' that we ran into and have grown a lot closer. I couldn't ask for a better partner.
I am also thankful for his recent payraise at his job, that has really helped out withs ome extra things we want to do around the house.
I am thankful for my job. I am thankful for having a job interview for a new job within my company that my fit me better, whether I get the job or not I am just thankful I had a chance to show I wasn't scared to go for it. I am thankful for my home. I am thankful for, for ONCE in my life, not having to constantly worry about money. I'm even thankful for my crazy ass puppy. Lol!
I am thankful for my extended family as well, crazy as they mmay be (on both sides, my side & DH's side).
