last night with dh was lovely. we both have things to improve on.

kaos' friend was over for a few hours, helping with some things out in the yard. we were all chatting. one of them brings up the movie american sniper, and kaos asks "did they ever catch the guy?" dh-"of course they did!" "well some people get away with murder. i will..." (he made that last statement very quietly, i dont know if his friend or dh even heard.)

that. was. creepy...

when i was alone w/ dh and we were talking, he mentions that dumb@$$ called him the other day, which was odd but he went ahead and answered it. (backstory, kaos went out to dinner saturday night w/ g-ma and to spend the night with her. based on the obsession with detail over his appearance and bringing two back-up outfits, i told hubby 'i guarantee dumb@$$ will be there'.)

so anyhoo he answers the phone. she says "i talked to momma about this and she told me to call and ask you - do you have any idea why kaos didnt want to spend the night with me on saturday?" dh was like "um, i have no clue, he hasnt mentioned anything of the sort." she asked if he'd ask him about it, of course hubby said yes but that was a total lie.

so. kaos rejected time with his mother. i'm not sure what to make of that!
