FINALLY something to compare these people to!! SERIOUSLY!

You've all read my rants about FMIL and how she leaves her teeth on the table and blah blah blah. farts and burps outloud - uses the bathroom with the door open, etc. FMIL is obsessed with this show. She thinks it's SOOOOO hilarious! I was SO disgusted when I was watching it I had to change the channel! The way they speak...lack of manners...the way they teach their kids it's okay to be obnoxious and refer to themselves as "hootchie and sexy"- lack of hygiene. this is NOT the way I want my step girls to ACT!!!!!!! She finds it acceptable and pushes that behavior on them. NO NO NO!

THAT SHOW IS THE PICTURE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO PAINT FOR EVERYONE! EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL OMG DH and I watched it for the first time last night. We had to turn it off it was so horrible.

My BD8 wanted to watch it and after about 5 min I turned it off! She got upset. I told her those people were NOT normal and no way was she watching it. Then I put it on the child lock out on the DVR }:) I had no idea it was gonna be like that. What the hell are people thinking???? Oh and this is how I picture life at BMs with all the Sgirls and her other kids :sick:

Funny. I've never watched the show, but I saw a commercial for it yesterday and immediately thought of StepTalk and how that little brat will cause someone's life to be miserable if her parent's ever divorce and get remarried. Ugh. It's disgusting.

I'm telling myself, with hands over my ears and rocking to self-soothe, lol, that the people who claim to "love" this show are watching it out of some sick but human tendency, like the one that makes people unable to look away from car crashes. That is trashy in itself, but at least it would mean that people don't actually think it's "cute" or funny.....gross. Just plain gross, IMHO.

Actually there are a lot of people like this around. It reminds me of many, many families that I have worked with over the years. It even caused me to reminecse about a few of them!
