BM asked DH to chase down the mailman

One more story from this weekend that just made me chuckle ..

Ever since moving back to MD, BM has been trying to find reasons to drop by our house. The most recent excuse was needing to give the skids' military ID's to DH. DH hasn't requested them or evne asked about them; there's no urgent need for them.

Twice since last Thursday BM has texted DH saying, "I'm in your neighborhood, I'm going to swing by and drop off the girls' IDs". The first time, DH called her right back and told her we weren't home. They agreed she would just give them to DH after her first weekend visitation (June 23).

She texted again Saturday afternoon while we were at the library with the skids. DH didn't reply .. they'd already agreed to June 23 and he wasn't dealing with it.

As we were driving home, our mailman was driving off of our street. I checked the mail on the way in; only one letter and a peice of junk. DH asks me if I saw the ID cards, because he just read BM's text saying she left them in the mailbox and put the red flag up, LOL

He calls BM to tell her they weren't there, that the mailman came and probably took them. She then asked him to get in his car and go chase him down!! She was seriously freaking out .. yelling, shrieking, and screamed "F**k my life" at least twice.

DH and I laughed about it all weekend. It still makes me chuckle Biggrin I guess now she'll have to go back to her command and get new ones; explaining that she illegally used a postal mail box and the postal carrier took the IDs }:)

Also, keep in mind, that BM has complained to DH about making payments to the day care because it's so far away from her .. yet she seems to randomly find herself in our neighborhood (45 miles away from her house) pretty regularly ..

Were they in an unmarked envelope? They'll probably end up at the dead letter office. She'll just claim she lost them with no repercussions.

She does sound like a bit of a stalker - with luck she'll get a transfer and that will distract her into moving on with her life.

No, there weren't in any envelope .. just sitting in there by themselves.

She just got restationed back here and chose to live 45 miles away .. I don't see her relocating again any time soon.

I imagine that she'll show up one day when DH isn't home and I'll call the police .. and that should hopefully stop her from randomly showing up at my house. Afterall, we live at the end of a dark, dead end street .. and she's been warned several times to not come to our home. Who's to say I didn't feel threatened or that my safety was in danger }:)

HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!

HAHAHAHAH!!

I'd love to hear about the chewing out she'd get from her command when she reports that....though, she probably won't tell the truth. Saying "they got lost" sounds so much better than "I'm a dumb blond".

HAHAHAHA

Oh, I'm sure she'll leave out the details .. or possibly even try to blame it on DH. I have no doubts .. but it's on her to deal with it and get new ones. We're STILL in no rush for the IDs }:)

There is a sharp one. What the hell does she think that red flag on the mail box is for?

When DH called, he asked her where she left them thinking maybe the fell out .. she said, "I put them in the box and lifted the red flag so you'd know they were there!" .. and he laughed out loud right into the phone .. idiot! Biggrin
