firsy day of vacation and what does bm do?

So on our way to our campsite and bm texted all the boys that het mom is in the hospital. Why b/c she was in an accident but didn't day how bad. So dh told ss15 to find out how bad. Come to find out it is just a fender bender. And they r just checking her out. Why even bother ur kids with something like that and why leave it at her in the hospital but not say it is not that bad. If is not that wht even text it. I'll tell u why she was reinforcing to keep them from having a good time and keep her inserted in our vacation. Ggrrr

You totally hit that one on the head! "Our" BM does the same thing - all the time. She always has to call when we are on vacation or doing something special. It's always with random things like, "Oh, we got a new cat."
This time she told SS12 "I hope your plane doesn't crash."

Leahm, BECAUSE IM THE MOM is our BM's FAVORITE line! That one and "IM THE ONE AND ONLY MOM!"

I SO wish we could just take the cell phones away. Our BM parents from afar using texting. If we take the phone, she accuses us of not allowing the skid to keep in contact with her. We're going on vacation in a few weeks with SS13 and SD19. Hopefully there will be NO drama...hahahahaha!

The BM's are so selfish...inserting themselves and ruining the kid's time for their own agenda. It makes me sick. I hope you can enjoy the rest of vacation, if you're still there!

Yeah so far the boys just shrugged and went swimming. About to go the the theme park see ya. Thanks ladies

LOL purple, yep, done the eye rolling thing myself! I'd inform BM, and instruct the kids that they may have their phones in the evening to let BM know how their day went, you are concerned about them losing them in the middle of swimming or in sand or whatever so they are switched off and safe. The Skids probably let it run like water off a duck's back anyway.
