During my vacation SD and I made a breakthrough (I know there will be setbacks) and now I enjoy these little games and tricks - they are kind of amusing since they are being played on DAD now!!

When dad and I are argueing a bit; SD will approach me and say things like
"Why does he do that to you" or "Why can't anyone else have an opionion - why does he think he is always right"

The best was when she txted my and asked if she could go the mall and of course I said yes! Shortly after, I found out dad had already said no!! hahahahahahaa
(no worries though, she didn't get in trouble - SURPRISE)

I think the break through happened when I redecorated her room and my BD room. Dad let them pick out their colors and after being told numerous times NOT to pick out two DARK colors - SD comes home with yep! TWO - dark colors. I begin to paint, laughing a bit at how nasty this was but then had to stop because I couldn't take it any longer. I then had to get new paint (I had to pick it because she wasn't home) I finish her room and yep - She loves it. I am not sure if she took this as a valid attempt from me or not; but she took a step forward. Oh ya, before I told her daddy was nervouse about telling her about her room - "how are you going to tell her? Be nice; let her feel okay about it." He's so weird. So I sent her a video txt of her room and said -"NOPE". She agreed and we moved on. I am done tip toeing around this. what is she an egg!! Get over it!

Sidenote: my BD room turned out wonderful - cause she listened to me about the colors..........LOL
