Rose tinting wearing off. Part 1
I'm sorry if this yet another repeat post. I've tried posting this before twice and I can't seem to find it so here goes one more try.
There has always been something odd between SS12 and my youngest BS9. I could never quite put my finger on it but I could feel the tension coming off of SS12 in waves. If was finally made clear on the last visit of the two oldest skids. He's jealous of BS9.
Let me expain, my BS9 has always been athletic, since he was born. When he was 5 months old he started doing push ups with his dad every morning. He still does 5 to 10 push ups every morning depending on what time he wakes up. Since he could walk he would always go with his dad or his brother on their runs if they would let him. When he was 18 months old he joined a weepeewee soccer club and has played soccer ever since. He can pretty much learn any sport and do it with out any problems. He's not scared of anything or anyone. He's the youngest of three boys and his dad is ex military, it happens.
SS12 is a big boy, bigger than my BS14. Husky and very tall. He was jumping on the trampoline with SS9, BS9 went outside to play with our dogs. I was in the kitchen cooking and would look out the window every now again because like I said there was always something odd with SS12 interaction with BS9.
I saw it starting, and whipped out my phone to record the entire thing because I knew I would be called a liar and I had to make sure SS12 couldn't cry his way out of this.
I'm not quite sure what was said since I wasn't outside, but SS12 got a mean look on his face, pushed SS9 (who is maybe 90 lbs while soaking wet) to his back on the trampoline, then put his knee on SS9 chest and wouldn't let him up. SS12 was laughing at SS9 while he struggled to get up and his little face was turning red. I was just about to call for DH to go break it up before SS9 got seriously hurt when I saw BS9 get on the trampoline. SS12 got a dirty look on his face and pushed BS9. Not hard just to back him away. BS9 began jumping, hire and hire. Getting closer to SS12 and then BAM, drop kicked him in his face. (BS9 loves WWE)
SS12 landed on his back and before he knew what had happened BS9 landed an elbow to his gut and smacked him in his face. SS9 scurried off the trampoline and rushed inside and BS9 followed. SS12 stayed on the trampoline redfaced and embarressed.
Let me just go on record that I do not condone fighting in any way, but I have always told my kids to never let any one push them around and that if they see someone small getting bullied, try to stand up for them as well. Which is what happened.
I was about to tell DH everything when SS12 tried to blame everything on BS9 saying he didn't want to come over any more if he was here. So, I showed him the entire video. I made SS12 site right next to DH and watch it with him. Needless to say, SS12 got a well deserved ass whoopin, and the rose color lenses started getting a little bit clearer that day.
I'm glad your dh took the
I'm glad your dh took the video at face values. Even with proof a lot of them will just harp on how mean your bs was to him, even if it was to protect another child. In the future, just video the little snot going after his brother then go tell him to knock it off. Your bs could end up getting hurt by this bully.
