ugh money issues

So due to having to pay a backlog of my student loans (yippee!) I am running short on cash this month. I told DH when he gets paid next week and pays me back for the money he borrowed from me that I might need to borrow money from him. Guess what? While he can pay me back he doesnt have extra to pay me! Guess I'll have to ask my mother for some cash to be able to pay the mortgage and tide us over. REALLY hate having to do that though. Ive only done it a few times since I have been married and I always pay her back within a month but I know she is just judging us, lol! :O

Thanks, that made me feel better. It IS a hard time for many. I feel so lucky to have what I have, but it is sometimes a struggle. I really hate to ask my mom for help- I am very independent and self-reliant-always have been. I have never expected to have anyone help me, my family never really had any money and my father is deceased. My mother doesnt have much but she will help out in a pinch and I always pay her back. I feel wrong about "handouts". Just wish Hubby had to ask HIS mother once in a while, lol.
