How to keep BS away from SS in a divorce scenario
Forums:
I have been through hell and back fighting with my husband to save my SS from his mother. My SS is now choosing to be toxic, sick, and destructive like his sociopath mother. Now my SS is a danger to my 2 year old son. I am considering getting out of the marriage, and am wondering if anyone knows how I can make sure my son never sees his SB, and I mean never. He hasn't done anything yet, but I don't want something to happen to my son, in order to keep him away from my SS. If anyone could give me suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanxs
Wow, unless you have some
Wow, unless you have some police reports or psychologist reports I would think it would be almost impossible to do so. That really sucks. I have to say that one of the things that has kept me in my marriage (thankfully in the long run it has improved) was the thought of thinking that he would see loser more or my DHs pathetic family and they would be a horrible influence on him. So, I have kept on. Honestly, I wish I could tell you a way around it, but I am not sure there is. I am sorry you are going through this. Really think if it's best to stay than to leave...watch your son, don't allow them to mix while you are still married, etc...until you can get something to make sure that he cannot be anywhere near him. Even then, I have to say, that I would worry, especially if your husband protects his crappy son.
Um, there's nothing you can
Um, there's nothing you can do short of kidnapping the kid and taking his father away from him.
According to what you wrote, your SS hasn't even done anything yet. You just think he will.
Without any proof of toxicity (and maybe not even then) you can't do a thing to prohibit your son being around his half brother.
A long and probably
A long and probably impossible climb at this point. I can see, if you can prove the danger, getting a court order stating that your boys father must visit with him when his boy is not around.
A long, difficult and expensive road. First step as mentioned above is to see a attorney.
