Wish I'd seen this site years ago

I posted on this site a few weeks ago after stumbling across it frustrated with the happenings ATM. I've been a SM for 15 yrs . It has been very nice to see that all these feelings I have had in the past that I had been told I was overreacting to by my in laws or my spouse or even the situations are not all that uncommon. Although sad as some of the things may be it is nice to read the comments and differing opinions and to know I'm not the only one out there. All of you that post on here, even though it's anonymous are brave to share and lay it all out there for the good and the bad comments.

I am so glad I found it. I can honestly say that I believe in some ways this site saved my marriage, for some of the reasons you stated above. It also helped me to vent to people that I felt truly understood what I was going through at the time, and it was nice to know that I really wasn't crazy.
That it wasn't normal to have your husband defend his heinous ex-wife at every turn. That other stepmoms had to deal with the secret whispering with the SK's, the fact that SK's never had chores, that others had husbands that acted like unpaid servants to small children.

Thankfully, DH isn't remotely like that anymore, but in part due to the fact that this site helped me find my "backbone" and draw some lines in the sand.
