Step Issues - not mine - story
Oh Dear Lord, thank you for not giving me strength cause I would've slammed the head of a brat...
Standing in the shop lunch time, waiting to pay, in front of me is a woman with 2 kids, one playing on her cellphone and one being a snotty little brat.. (kid one about 11, kid 2 about 4-5)
Woman: Don;t do that with the phone, to other kid, No we can't have sweets now...
Kid1 with phone ignores her and proceed bashing the touch screen, other kid is getting all worked up cause he wants sweets and she said no,
Kid2 is threatening to have a tantrum and she simply looks at him, he behaves
Woman: I said stop doing that with the phone Hon,
Kid1 ignores woman, I flip out and said - Hey your mother said stop doing that now listen to her... Mum is busy paying
Kid1 - She's not my Mother...she's married to my father
oh hell, I exploded, the poor woman picked up the younger one and simply looked shocked. Me in my bitch ice cold voice with my bitch face to kid1
Listen Brat, I don;'t care if she's your mother or not but she's not your doormat, she's older then you and in charge of you, if you don;t like it stop asking her for her phone to play with, ask your useless Mother's phone, and yes your Mother is useless cause she never taught you any manners, now seeing this woman is not your Mother but still took the time to collect you from school, cause your parents are way to lazy, you can walk home, this woman will do nothing for you anymore, seeing she's not your Mother she owes you nothing.... I suggest you start walking brat, and put down that chocolate you tried her to buy for you..... yes this little bitch simply took a chocolate and put it with SM's stuff, for her to pay while SM is struggling with the other kid and saying NO to sweets,
Some one behind me started giggling, the woman simply stared at me, I still don't know if it was a shocked face or a grateful face for telling her step brat off,
I paid my stuff and turned to her and I said, I mean it, she's not your daughter you owe her nothing, simply tell her from now on, I'm not your Mother ask your Mother.....

I am actually worried about what wil happen tonight in that house....
brat complaining to Dad that a mean bitch scolded her in the shop and SM getting blamed for not protecting the wittle snowflake..
Sigh... Didn't think of
Sigh... Didn't think of that... The life of being a SM some days... UGH...
Regardless... It was something the brat should have heard. Plus she'd get more blame if she had actually told off the beastie...
What a total d-bag. I
What a total d-bag.
I actually did this move to my own sisters once. I babysat them a lot, and I kind of spoiled them. When they got mad with me or when I wanted them to do something like clean up their own mess, they'd often tell me that I wasn't their mom!
So, one day I called their bluff.
Them: "TwoOfUs, what's for lunch?"
Me: "I don't know. I'm not your mom."
Them: "TwoOfUs, can you take us to the pool?"
Me: "Sorry...no. I'm not your mom."
Etc., etc. All day long. They got the hint and started behaving...and I started treating them again

WAAHAHAHAAA! Shit - I would've paid money to see/hear that!
Good on you Acra! I probably would've done the same..or similar. I cannot stand when bratty kids blatantly disrespect the adults when they are out with them in public.
Hoping like hell the S-Mom takes your advice to heart and has a good talk with her husband about skids behaviour in public.
I also hope she never takes them out again until they are more respectful.
**clapping and stomping feet** woo hoo!!
